Fed up of using a
costly and complicated program to manage your commercials?
Are you fudging your music scheduler to help get your adverts
scheduled? Perhaps you've been using a spreadsheet to plan
and log adverts... All that can change if you switch to AdMan.
AdMan allows you to manage your
commercial schedules with ease: Input new
customers, add audio/liner copy and create schedules based upon a simple
set of scheduling rules. This program started out as a small
pet-project but after some initial interest was shown, it became
major project for us and thanks to the generosity of a certain
broadcaster, the price of AdMan is within everybody's reach!
Flexible
Scheduling
Need to schedule a customer's advert to run 8 times on a
Monday between 7am-10am, 3 times on a Wednesday between 6am-6pm
and 10 times on a Sunday between 9am-3pm? AdMan lets you do
that using the Day/Hour Grid combined with the Max Play settings
that determine how many plays are possible on a given day.
This method is ideal for scheduling advertisers who want either
peak-time or daytime exposure: food establishments would obviously
favour daytime/late-afternoon plays on a Friday/Saturday etc.
Orders also permit multiple adverts/copy so that a customer can
have date/time-critical commercials air between the correct times, eg: "sale ends Monday" / "sale ends tomorrow" and so on.
Keep Track of
Orders/Earnings
AdMan offers you an easy-to-follow report of which
adverts/customers are on-air and how much they are spending.
When viewing an Advert/Copy, you can see at a glance the orders
for that particular item. Same goes for viewing Customers: a
2nd tab shows the Orders (both past and present) along with the
earnings for that customer.
Collisions /
Like-for-Like Adverts
You will probably want to keep competing advertisers away from
each other in the same advert-break - AdMan can avoid situations
where 2 competing taxicab adverts run in a row, or even in the
same break! Adverts also have a "Repeat Interval" setting
which prevents the advert from being scheduled too often.
Days/Hours and
"Cost per Play"
Each advert can be limited by Days, Hours and/or the amount of
plays each day that it can theoretically have. This makes it
easy to set "kill dates" for special promotions and also helps
your client get maximum exposure, eg: their half-price pizza
commercial can run 4-9pm Friday+Saturday when people are thinking
about food! Similarly, you can prevent "offer ends Friday
13th" being played on Saturday 14th...
Manage Multiple
Stations
Although you can open and use different Station Databases
within AdMan, you may wish to run an advert on both your FM "CHR"
station and also your AM "Oldies" station. With the
Commercial licence of AdMan, this is possible! When entering
the order, you are given a list of "Stations" on which the advert
can run - these stations can then have the advert schedules sent
to their respective playout systems. This is great if you
wish to manage a group of stations that share some/all of your
adverts.
Export to Playout
Systems
A variety of popular playout systems are supported: Dalet,
EncoDAD, Myriad, Simian, StationPlaylist and more - with the
"non-profit" licence you can export to 1 system but with the
"commercial" licence you can export to all available playout
templates.
More details will be
added in due course...
