DAC Cartwall allows the instant replay of station jingles, stabs, effects and jock IDs.

Many automation programs are great at playing hours of endless music, jingles and commercials - they follow a running order and even handle music-ducking for sweepers and voice-tracks...Most, however, are not very good at handling spontaneous elements such as sound effects, DJ drops etc...

It's a touch-screen friendly application that can inherit audio properties (tag data) from a variety of formats - this allows it to work seamlessly with your existing automation system.

Easy to use - just click/touch a button to start the audio. Audio can be loaded in up to 3 playback decks for longer items (such as talk beds). In an extensive set-up, you could have 3 playback decks each outputting to their own faders, plus the instant buttons on a 4th fader.

A preset list allows up to 99 cartwall pages (each containing 56 buttons) - recalled with one click/touch.

PRODUCTION RECORDER
There is now a built-in recorder which can be useful when recording off-air telephone calls or producing links in advance of broadcast.

You can record, cut, normalize and auto-top/tail stereo WAV files using the large and colourful buttons. You can also load and re-record over existing files and when closing the window you can instantly load your recorded file into a Playback deck.

Sounds great - but at what cost ?
Now just Ł15 - that's the price "per computer" that you wish to licence the software on. You can also purchase 3 licences for the price of 2 - ideal for multi-studio setups or a laptop/backup machine.

Players can now use different sound devices - if you have 4 outputs available, each player can be assigned to them!

Added Config option: "Warn me if I try to play a file that doesn't exist"
This disables the file checking that displays a message box if you attempt to load/play a file that has been moved since you created the set. This is because some Windows 7 users have been reporting issues with not being able to play files.

Added Normalize and Trim dB Level settings to config which allow you to control the normalization and auto-trim sensitivity when using the production recorder.

IMPORTANT: As this is is a major new version (2.x), your existing registration will be invalid - existing users need to contact me for a free replacement code. This is the last major version where existing users get a free upgrade, so from v3.x onwards - upgrades will be "paid for" if you don't already have a v3.x licence.

Licensing DAC Cartwall : Until registered, DAC Cartwall will run for 30 minutes and then close - it is fully functional apart from this limitation. You may re-start the program as many times as you like.

As I do not currently run Windows 7, I can't offer much in the way of support for it. Sorry!
