APE, ID3, FLAC and OGG

Please note that MyLibrary does not support saving APE/ID3 (StationPlaylist) Tags to M4A/WAV files.

APE is used by the StationPlaylist "Creator" and "Studio" applications so the majority of those fields are supported here.  It is possible to view/edit these tags in other applications (ie: MP3Tag.de) - the following fields are saved in MyLibrary when using Export to APE/ID3 Tags:

APE/ID3/SPL Tags - uppercase indicates custom field
Artist, Title, Year, Genre, Comment, CUE, INTRO, SEGUE, HOOK, HOOKOUT, ITEMTYPE, OPENER, END, MOOD, TEMPO, DISCNUMBER, TRACK, SEGUEDB, CART, CLIENTID, ACCOUNT, ISRC, CLIENT, ARTISTS

ID3v2 Tags
Artist, Title, Year, Genre, Composer, ISRC, Track, Album

When reading APE/ID3 Tags, if BOTH tags are not present, MyLibrary will default the Artist+Title fields to the filename.  APE Artist+Title will be favoured over ID3v2 to ensure compatibility with StationPlaylist.

The following fields are saved in MyLibrary when using Export to ID3/Audio Tags:

ID3v2 Only
Artist, Title, Year, Genre, Composer (Opener/Year/Style/End/Gender)

The Composer field contains several fields and can be useful when importing into PSquared's Myriad playout software - you can then import your Carts from the Audiowall into AutoTrack, and then use the Search Song feature to add/bulk-set certain AutoTrack properties/fields.  This is an alternative to loading a CSV into AutoTrack.

ID3v2 Genres are saved as / delimited tags, eg: 90S/DANCE/POP which makes searching with WinAmp Media Library possible as well as simple filtering within my other broadcast applications - A song would show in the 90S folder as well as the DANCE and POP folders.

Category has been removed as it caused an issue with populating Myriad's Audiowall when using their Import Wizard.

The AUDIO tag is compatible with both MP3 and WAV files: Artist, Title, Album, Year, Comment .

FLAC Tags - uppercase indicates custom field
Artist, Title, YEAR, Genre, Comment, CUE, INTRO, SEGUE, HOOK, HOOKOUT, ITEMTYPE, OPENER, END, TEMPO, DiscNumber, Track, SEGUEDB, CART, CLIENTID, ACCOUNT, ISRC, CLIENT, ARTISTS

OGG Tags - uppercase indicates custom field
Artist, Title, Genre, Description*

The OGG "Description" field contains the following MyLibrary fields: Opener / Year / Styles / EndType / Gender
